Background and Credentials
According to his signature on Rudy Abel's forum, Tom Fox's ranks are as follows:
- 1st degree Kung-Fu San Soo
- 1st dan Tang Soo Do
- 5th dan American Karate

Tom also claims to be training BJJ under one of his students, Bryan Hale. When asked, Tom refused to name who Hale studied BJJ under or his BJJ belt rank.
Controversy
Tom Fox first began posting on Bullshido during the Coda Scott investigation. Tom took a leading role as Coda was teaching in the Stillwater area where Tom had an established school. Tom sat on the board that evaluated Coda Scott's skills and found them to be not as claimed. Tom also pointed out that Scott was claiming military medals he did not earn. At one point Tom did offer to take on Scott as a student, starting as a white belt. Tom was praised for his work and honesty in the Coda investigation.
Mrs. Fox
Mrs. Fox challenged forum member 1bad65 to a cage match in Houston, TX. 1bad65 declined, saying he does not fight women. Mrs. Fox then offered her husband Tom up for the fight. This was accepted, but, to date, Tom has failed to follow through on the challenge and has instead offered up a plethora of excuses.
Mrs. Fox also admitted to twice calling the gym 1bad65 trains at.
During the lead up to the Anthony-Rudy Abel fight, Mrs. Fox referred to Anthony as a "drug addict" and a "porn spammer". She also referred to Osiris, Kat, and Ashley as "druggies".
